How the books are developed

At Pictures to Share we believe in investing in research and testing. This ensures that our books meet the needs of people with dementia as much as possible.

We work closely with another social enterprise ‘Innovations in Dementia C.I.C.’ who carry out trials in care homes using images that we are considering for our new books. We always try to experiment with the type of images that we trial, to ensure that we do not make assumptions about what people with dementia might best respond to. This can lead to some interesting and surprising results.
