Using books

Books are an easy and effective way to improve the quality of communication between residents and care home staff, or visitors. Having our books readily available and clearly displayed in lounges means that staff can pick up a book to use to help spend quality time with a resident in between other care tasks. Visitors also find the books prompt more varied conversation and help make their visits more enjoyable.

Using the internet

We have a range of You Tube links on this website. This will allow your carers or activity organizer to gain instant access to a library of old music clips that provide a hugely enjoyable and  interactive experience for people with dementia.
