People familiar with our
books will be familiar with the work of Ann Bridges. Ann's work is somewhere
between painting and printmaking.
One-off pieces of work are usually produced
as part of a series using a variety of techniques and tools, including hand
rollers, hand-cut stencils, cotton buds and biros.
Her work is used on the end-papers of ‘The Countryside in pictures', ‘Shopping in pictures', Childhood in pictures, and ‘A Sporting Life in pictures' and ‘Beside the Seaside in pictures.' Her work can also be seen on our brochures.
